Easter Sunday - April 5th
10 am. He is risen! We celebrate with the first disciples as they discover the empty tomb. You are welcome to find the hope and joy of Easter morning.
Easter Season - Apr. 12-May 17th
10 am During the Sundays following Easter, we read about Jesus’s appearances to his apostles. The 40 days of the Easter season mirror the time that the risen Christ spent with his disciples before his Ascension, teaching them -and us- how to continue his work in the world.
The Day of Pentecost -May 24th
10 am We wear red and other colors of fire to celebrate the arrival of the Holy Spirit, descending on Jesus’s people like tongues of fire. Pentecost is the birthday of Christ’s church!
Past Events
Good Friday - April 3rd
11:15 am. The Stations of the Cross took us on a solemn journey through 14 stations depicting Jesus’s journey to the cross.
12 noon. The Good Friday service began by gathering us, as Jesus’s family, to remember as witnesses his death on the cross, as told in the gospel according to John. It continues with prayers for the world.
Maundy Thursday - April 2nd
6:00 pm. We gather in the Parish Hall for a simple meal that would have been familiar to Jesus and his friends. Then we go into the church for a service that recalls Jesus’s last supper with the disciples. At the end of the service, the Lord’s Table is quietly stripped down to the bare wood, in preparation for Good Friday.
Palm Sunday - March 29th
10 am Holy Week begins with a Sunday church service that recalls the events of Jesus’s last week before his death and resurrection. Palm Sunday begins with remembering Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We meet in the parish hall for the Liturgy of the Palms, and process across the courtyard to the sanctuary for the gospel story of how the rest of that week went, stopping just short of the conclusion.
Spring Plant Sale - March 28th
11 am to 4 pm Saturday, March 28, St. Bede’s hosted a successful Spring Plant Sale with plant vendors and gardening-related products.
There were free gardening classes and demos. Visitors enjoyed a tour of St. Bede’s Pollinator Gardens and lunch from food trucks.
Up With Trees partnered with St. Bede’s for a free giveaway of 300 tree seedlings, on a first come, first served basis..
The 40 days of Lent invite us to join Jesus during a time of reflection and renewal. This year we read and discussed Tattoos On The Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion by Gregory Boyle, the founder of Homeboy Industries, a gang intervention program based in Los Angeles.. This little book will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will make you think about what it means to be a Jesus-Christian.
Lenten Study - February 18th to March 22
Ash Wednesday is one of the most important days of the liturgical year. Spiritually it opens the way in to a meaningful and holy Lent. If you are in need of a personal Ash Wednesday and beginning of Lent, come and kneel with us 6 pm February 18. The imposition of ashes was offered as well as Holy Communion.
Regardless of where you are in your journey, everyone is welcome at St. Bede’s.

Bishop’s Visit - Feb. 15, 2026
The congregation turned out to welcome Bishop Poulson Reed to St. Bede’s. He confirmed two new church members and celebrated Holy Eucharist. After a delicious potluck feast, Bishop Poulson and church members enjoyed an informal discussion, asking and answering questions.
