Ash Wednesday - February 18th
Ash Wednesday is one of the most important days of the liturgical year. Spiritually it opens the way in to a meaningful and holy Lent. If you are in need of a personal Ash Wednesday and beginning of Lent, come and kneel with us 6 pm February 18. The imposition of ashes will be offered as well as Holy Communion. Regardless of where you are in your journey, everyone is welcome at St. Bede’s.
The 40 days of Lent invite us to join Jesus during a time of reflection and renewal. We will read Tattoos On The Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion by Gregory Boyle, the founder of Homeboy Industries, a gang intervention program based in Los Angeles.. This little book will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will make you think about what it means to be a Jesus-Christian.
We’ll read two chapters each week, and talk about them during our fellowship time in the parish hall, after the church service. You can pick up your copy of the book at the Ash Wednesday service, or at any Sunday service in Lent. The book is free, thanks to an anonymous donor!

Bishop’s Visit - Feb. 15, 2026
The congregation turned out to welcome Bishop Poulson Reed to St. Bede’s. He confirmed two new church members and celebrated Holy Eucharist. After a delicious potluck feast, Bishop Poulson and church members enjoyed an informal discussion, asking and answering questions.
