Sunday, the first day of February Two thousand and nine.

Raising a child can be intimidating. However, in the sacrament of Baptism, we are reminded that the care of children is not a solitary enterprise, but rather, that parents are supported by godparents, family, and the wider church as they seek to raise their child in Christian beliefs and practices. Piper is shown here with her extended family.

All in attendance signed Piper's Baptismal Certificate as a recognition of their pledge to support Piper with their prayers and witness to help her grow into the full stature of Christ.

A reception followed the service.
